“We had originally two different stays, but ended up extending our stay to be one long stay, it was very easy to do! However, the hotel keys kept not working because we would put them by our phones or in our wallets. This was frustrating.”

“Beautiful room with original brick walls & tall ceilings. Amazing bathroom updated but stays with antique look. A perfect place to stay in town to see most of 'the biggest' things by walking down the street and around the block. Can't wait to explore more!!”

“As opposed to another BW I just reviewed, this one was was actually pretty nice. The room and the bathroom were both pretty clean, for a "dog room". Decent breakfast and clean facilities. The young lady who checked us in was top notch. I would stay again. ”

The staff was fabulous in checking in guests who were seeking shelter during the threat of a tornado as well as meeting their needs.
They remained calm, collected, kind and caring throughout the evening!
I was most impressed that they had two rooms available for shelter in the event that the tornado was spotted in the vicinity!”

“When I stayed here, I wasn’t anticipating what I saw. All the hotels in the area were expensive due to a IHSA meet. So I had to settle for a two or three star hotel, of which I usually don’t do. To my surprise when I got to the hotel, it was very clean, nice and spacious. I was particularly surprised when I arrived at my suite. It was gorgeous two queen beds, modern bedding, and frame extremely clean with the exception of a couple of dead flies on the windowsill, but that’s OK. The bathroom was...

“Sammy really stood out!! Our cat was not enjoying the cross country move, and we awoke in the morning to him having totally disappeared. We scoured the room to no avail. I went down to the desk, and he instantly knew the look on my face. When i said cat, he said "oh yeah under the sink there's a spot cats will jump onto that's totally hidden. Happens all the time." He was right!! Crisis averted, cat secured, emotional breakdown cancelled. :D the hotel is close to the interstate, but still out...
